 Eating too much isn’t good for your health and it can be a trigger for a lot of problems including: coronary heart diseases, stroke, some kind of cancers etc.
That is way there are so many dieting choices. But behind excessive eating there are many factors and causes often visibly not seen. Some of them are psychological,some are physiological. Who of us didn’t feel the comfort and calming effect of few bites of our favorite snacks after a stressful situations?

Then another observation I had earlier is now scientifically explained. Believe it or not the amount of sleep you have can have a significant impact on your bodyweight! There are two hormones in our body which control some of our eating habits ghrelin and leptin. Ghrelin was the hormone which helped us survive the primitive times of past when we never knew where will the next meal come from. Basically it gives us the impulse to eat more. It was ok for the caveman but today it makes us a lot of headache. Leptin is a hormone which says – its enough.
So when we are sleep deprived, the level of ghrelin increases (eat more!) and the level of leptin (its enough!) decreases. So its not just the diets that matters. It seems that in this area as in many other its important to take a holistic path. Another very important suggestions is not to take radical measures as it could lead to only temporary results. You can get rid of lot of those unwanted pounds in short time but starving yourself can build up levels of ghrelin in your body which will explode sooner or later and make you gain the weight you lost in a short time.
There are many diets around, some of them are better some worse. Some of them even have scientific background. But, the most interesting and applicable are those which are easy, simple and straightforward. As one famous scientist said – “The challenge lies not in designing complex solutions but in development of the simplest one”

No S dieting is among them. Its simple and easy – no complicated rules to follow, no counting of calories and no special food combinations. Just three simple rules:

No Snacks (no snacks between meals, not even healthy ones)
No Seconds (one plate only, no mater what do you eat)
No Sweets (forget sugar)

Easy, isn’t it?

Add to that walking instead of driving your car everywhere and you have a recipe for a easy and healthy weight loss.
